Review:
A career retrospective of Rene Burri, a world renowned photographer who was responsible for iconic images of amongst others Cha Guevara and Pablo Picasso.
The images presented in this book are truly world spanning. Due to the fact that Burri had travelled to more than 20 countries by the time he reached his mid-twenties, and wherever he went he took his camera with his. He not only captured images of the great and famous people of the world, he also recorded the lives of the ordinary people from across the globe.
This retrospective of his work was written and compiled by Michael Koetzle, and contains around 450 duotones and 90 colour photographs.
