Review:

Sebastiao Salgado is one of the truly great photographers of our time. Born in Brazil he has spent decades photographing the lives of ordinary people from around the globe.

An Uncertain Grace contains some of his most moving and recognisable images. Recording the brutal and harsh existence of the miners of brazil, who risk their lives digging through the clay and muck, looking for gold.

This is a book highly recommended for anyone interested not only in photography, but also for those wanting to understand the lives of ordinary people, who are mostly overlooked by the world media.
