Review:
Husband and wife duo, Brett and Reenie Sparks have produced another great album in Singing Bones.
The songs are haunting and somewhat austere, but touched with a dash of humour. Dealing with the darker aspects of life but with a sense of magical realism, the songs can be strangely uplifting. As if by showing the darkness they are in effect highlighting the good things in life.
